These multi-directional bur guards keep burs protected and securely in place during sterilization. The 5 perforations hold 2 burs with right-angle or latch-type shanks and 3 burs with friction grip shanks.

Our bur guards are designed to keep burs protected and securely in place during sterilization. Our models are multi-directional and have 5 perforations, designed to hold burs with right-angle or friction grip shanks.
Right angle (RA) shanks, also known as latch-type shanks, fit into the latch of the contra-angle on slow speed hand pieces. Friction Grip Shanks (FG) fit into the turbine of high-speed hand pieces.
Our bur guards are made of durable, low maintenance 304 stainless steel. They are compatible with common sterilization equipment. Sterilization can take place by immersion in a disinfecting container (chemical or ultrasonic disinfection) or in an autoclave.
